New Rupert Grint German Interview!

Rupert Grint and Cherrybomb news keep flooding today! Berliner Morgenpost has just published a great new interview with Rupert. The interview was conducted by two teenage journalists, Viktoria and Laura, the same afternoon when our Jo talked to Rupert too! He spoke about Cherrybomb, Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, and many other things. For your convenience I have translated the interview as quickly as I could. Oh, and the article mentions Rupert’s fans who call him Ice Cream Man — who could that be, I wonder? :D Here are just a few excerpts. Viktoria & Laura: Cherrybomb is completely different from the Harry Potter films, it has a very sad ending. What attracted you to the role of the Malachy? Rupert Grint: Malachy is really completely different from Ron. I liked the fact that it happens in Belfast. Because of the bomb attacks in the past, the city is still in the development, it still redefines itself. And it is simply a crazy city, which I saw for the first time while shooting the movie. If we were filming it in London, it would surelyhave turned out a completely different film. Continue reading

Cherrybomb Reviews And Other Tidbits!

Several new Rupert Grint and Cherrybomb tidbits have surfaced this morning. First of all, this article will definitely be added to our Cherrybomb Rave Reviews section soon! Heike Dietrich of Berliner Morgenpost described the movie like this (immediately after the premiere): “Cherrybomb — a great film! So passionate and forceful throughout. Crazy soundtrack too! Unrestrained enthusiasm and shiny eyes.” Next, Maryanne Redpath and her representative Florian Weghorn, who selected the films in the children’s and youth section Generation, have talked about the changes they introduced to these categories. Asked about the issues tackled by Cherrybomb, Ms Redpath commented: Continue reading

He definitely is the most adorable creature ever to walk the Earth. We would like to thank once again to Rupert for being so kind to us, for taking his time to talk to ICM dream team, and for sending his love to you all. Unlike 99% of celebrities, Rupert has always been incredibly nice to his fans, and that’s partly a reason why we love him so much. We would also like to thank his dad Nigel for his kind words of support to ICM, it really means a lot to us — and we promise to continue to make their family giggle! Continue reading
