Get the latest on Cherrybomb at the Berlinale with ICM

siteJanuary 10th 2009, 3:45 AM – As we are less than a month from the start of The Berlin Film Festival, where Rupert Grint’s new movie Cherrybomb will have its world premiere, we thought we would launch our special page for coverage of the festival. We will obviously cover the event from a Cherrybomb perspective, bringing you updates as they happen and hopefully we will be able to bring you some exclusives from our staff attending the festival as well.

You can access the festival page by clicking on the banner on our main page, or you can find it here. Are you curious about the Berlin Film Festival, and interested in what it means for Cherrybomb to have been selected to screen there? We have also prepared an introduction to the Berlinale with focus on Cherrybomb here. Enjoy!

Awesome work Karin, you really worked hard on this. Thanks because I think many of us are interested in the whole Berlin set up. Plus it is nice to have a link right on the site with constant updates to this event. :)

We were told this month or before the festival premieres, not much longer though I suspect. I know the wait is killing everybody.

Aww, I kind of hoped Rupert would get nominated but now I know it’s not possible. But it’s ok still it’s wonderful about Cherrybomb.
That was a great read. Thanks a million!

I like this set up and I can view streaming videos at work. Guess that’s what I’ll be looking at if Rupert shows up on the red carpet.

Reviews make me nervous. lol

suzeeq
January 10th, 2009 at 6:08 PM

No KC, Cherrybomb is in the Generation section. The movie will be up for a Crystal Bear award..

“Generation presents lively cinema aimed at young audiences. The section’s two competitions, Generation Kplus and Generation 14plus, allow for fine-tuning in the programme according to the age range within the audience.”

This is totally random but Toby Jones has confirmed that he’s voicing Dobby in DH! Yay! I <3 Dobby.

Jo
January 10th, 2009 at 8:27 PM

Who the hell is Toby Jones?

Ivana
January 10th, 2009 at 8:30 PM

Well the actor who voices Dobby lol! He played Truman Capote in “Infamous” a couple of years ago… the short blond dude. Great actor.

Ok I remember that movie!!! COOL. :) I have had four beers and one margarhita and counting. Where is Rupes tonight?

KC
January 10th, 2009 at 9:04 PM

I know this is random, but I want Rupert to do something outrageuos in one of those talkshows. You know like how: Rob bit Tyra, Numerous entertainers dancing on the Ellen show…etc. It would just make my day. :D
lol

Jo
January 10th, 2009 at 9:07 PM

Well maybe it isn’t outrageous but the Generation game was fun to watch him on. Rupert doesn’t have to do anything but stand and stare and I am entertained.

KC
January 10th, 2009 at 9:12 PM

OH! Lol I totally forgot about the generation of fame, and bogies! :D Bogies was my fave though. But now I want something new! lol

Jo
January 10th, 2009 at 9:13 PM

Yes Bogies, we played that game on our fan convention in 2007. wow has it been two years ago?? nooooooo way!

Jo
January 10th, 2009 at 9:14 PM

KC
January 10th, 2009 at 9:22 PM

Generation Fame and Bogies was very fun to watch. But you know what I would like to see him do? A sketch comedy show like SNL. He could be the host, and would be great (as long as.he doesn’t catch his infamous giggle fits!) I actually could see Dan doing something like that too,

I am still eating some tex mex and some margarhita’s. AJ remember what you said that Rupert could read off a box or something and it would be hot. Oh man he’s too hot.

AJ

AJ remember what you said that Rupert could read off a box or something and it would be hot. Oh man he’s too hot.

Shoot, he can read the “Have a Happy Period” slogan off a pack of Always and I’d be facinated!!!!

I know it sounds crude, but I mean that mess…

Man, I wanted an appletini, but I’m stuffed like a pig….
