Exclusive: Full Soundtrack For Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb, Plus Interview With Stephen Hilton (FlyKKiller)!
With only eight days left until the world premiere of Rupert Grint’s latest movie Cherrybomb, we are determined to bring you new exclusives every day! Today, we have two treats for you: the first one is the full and definitive Cherrybomb soundtrack, and the second is Karo’s exclusive interview with the band flyKKiler, who have contributed two songs to the movie! The band member whom Karo spoke to, Stephen Hilton, actually collaborated with David Holmes on scoring the entire soundtrack. Together, they hoped to bring to the film a variety of music(s) that teenagers nowadays listen to, as they have access to a large range of sounds via iTunes or the internet. Kimberley Nixon And James Nesbitt Discuss Rupert Grint And Cherrybomb!
Recently an interview has been conducted with Rupert Grint’s Cherrybomb co-stars Kimberley Nixon (Michelle) and James Nesbitt (Crilly). They talked about the movie, the cast and many other things! For your reading pleasure, we have selected here all excerpts that have to do with Rupert Grint and/or his character Malachy, and his interaction with Luke and Michelle. Kimberley Nixon said that her character Michelle is a real catalyst for what happens, as she seduces both boys: “I suppose she does go for Malachy but she was quite partial to Luke so she just sort of test drives him too. I think the boys she has always gone for in the past are like Luke and then she meets Malachy he has something different about him and she can’t quite get him out of her head. And also Malachy is better looking!” In Kimberley’s opinion, Michelle’s domestic situation helps her relate both to Malachy and Luke: “She’s got the nice home like Malachy has, but also the lack of authority figure like Luke is dealing with – so she can relate to both boys whereas they cannot relate to each others family lives.” Continue reading
New High Quality Cherrybomb Stills!
January 29, 2009, 6:25pm–While we have seen each of these stills – featuring Rupert Grint, Robert Sheehan, Kimberley Nixon, and James Nesbitt – we now have them in high quality for your viewing pleasure. The first one is of Malachy, Michelle and Luke in the pool, the three of them talking (which was originally posted by MTV), and the other of Michelle and Crilly in a discussion in her bedroom. In addition we also have a high quality still with Glenn Leyburn and Lisa Barros D’Sa directing a scene from the film which seems to include the pool area where we see the trio floating in rafts.
