We are happy to announce ICM’s affiliation with popular film and actor site “The Movie Fanatic!” We are not only featured as “The Movie Fanatic’s site of the month, but founder Jed Medina took some time to interview us and webmistress Tao about where ICM started, what our fanbase is like, what Rupert is like and much much more!
And thanks to the fans for your dedication because we will get Rupert that profile feature on “The Movie Fanatic”, so again it couldn’t have been possible without all of you! We thought we would update you on a little Cherrybomb news. We’ve discovered that Mr. David Holmes has been working steadily on crafting the “Cherrybomb” soundtrack which is said to be full of retrograde rock and progressive pop sounds. One band we found out to be featured on the soundtrack will be Irish psychedelic music group TwinKranes. You can find out all about them at their myspace here!

This was more or less expected, some Irish rock!
Good for us to know more from them, since Ireland gave us a lot of great rock bands.

Anyone here had seen a movie called “Quadrophenia”?
It´s a late 70′s movie made by The Who about the 60′s England teenage generation comming from working class.
I saw it last week and my thoughts was directed to Malachy´s character. Mods and rockers!

Sometimes I wanna hit myself in the head for not commenting more.
But I’ve said it before, I still visit the site EVERYDAY! And I read the hundreds of comments(LOL, I think the record was like 600 for one post, right?)
I seriously teared up when i read the article. I just think back to the time when all my mother and I wanted to do was just catch a glimpse of Rupert at the premiere of “Driving Lessons” at the Tribecca Film Festival. Well we got our glimpse, a hug, a pic….and we met Jo and AJ for the first. I wouldn’t say it changed our lives forever(*roll’s eyes* LOL) But there would definitly be things that would be different in our lives.
Congrats, Tao! You and ICM as a whole deserves this recognition. Muahz!

Four years after first introducing ICM, I still can’t believe where we are, and what we’ve done for fans. I still can’t believe Rupert himself visits the site and that we’re getting so much attention.

Left a comment over at TMF, I’m so happy about this you guys (just like Rupert himself) deserve much more recognition, you’re the best Rupert website : very rarely does any other website get Rupert news before this one does, and none have collected all “Rave Reviews” like Tao mentioned in the interview. And more important than that: ICM has a special attitude and flow to it, everybody respects each other and we talk about important subjects and we care seriously for Rupert and plan stuff to help him in any way we can, and that’s just great.

Probably so Karo! Rupert’s films always have great music. For me, one of the best things about Driving Lessons was the soundtrack! I didn’t even know Sufjan Stevens before DL, but then I got hooked, and by pure coincidence Sufjan had a gig here in Manchester just weeks after DL ended its run at Great Northern. Sufjan is an amazing performer, it was just him and his guitar on stage, but he got us all hypnotised. Nowadays I proudly own four of his albums.

Is my first time posting here, I’m from Mexico (be patience with my english) I must say you are really lucky girls ‘coz I’m afraid CB and WT will not come out in theatres here (I ‘m sad), I had to wait to see DL in youtube and just now I’m seeing it again with titles in spanish because there were some words I didn’t understand very well.
I discovered that Rupert is so gorgeous a bit late in OOTP (yeah I know don’t be mad with me) but I’ve always thought since the first movie he is the best and most talented of the trio and a litlle sad because of lack of news about him as you have said and I found this website last year, is really great (I read the lovely interview, congratulations girls). There is no much information here in Mexico about him only Dan and I always had to check only on internet so is great to find sites like this and yeah definetely is the best.

Look for “Love Reign O’er Me” song ( and there´s a wonderful version by Pearl Jam) on You Tube and you´ll see it´s perfect for him!
And I watched “Twinkranes” at YouTube, too (couldn´t see them on MySpave) and I can picture their sound playing with the scene of that Malachy´s red picture.

Damn, I’m really digging this TwinKranes! You know, what I usually remember the most about a movie(wether it be an outstanding movie, or it sucked) I always manage to latch onto the soundtrack. The soundtrack MAKES a movie, IMO. And I think CB is going to have a slammin’ soundtrack too it! Currently listening to one of their songs called “Being Kong”. I am thinking of them(them being Malachy, Luke, and Michelle) stealing cars and making out in a field while tripping on acid, while this song plays in the background. lol Is the CB soundtrack out yet? Heh. I had a drummer friend who said he didn’t want to be a singer because it’s impossible to play an amazing drum line and sing at the same time. It is true. I honestly have no idea why WordPress does that. I also found some Karo’s and Cinderella’s comments in the spam folder. Sometimes, if comments contain links, WP identifies them as spam, but sometimes doesn’t. *shrugs*

I don’t think I have to defend tMF and what ‘distinction’ it has already won, we’re happy with what we have and the most important thing is that we celebrate Rupert as one of today’s most talented young actors. I think that’s more important than worry about other less important issues.
