Good morning and good news! Seems like a beginning of another exciting week for Rupert fans! The Movie Fanatic has just released their Weekly Top 3 of young actors making the biggest buzz at the moment, and guess who’s captured the No. 3 spot? Rupert Grint! (The other two featured actors are Shia LeBeouf at No. 2 and Robert Pattinson at No. 1 – well deserved indeed!) According to TMF, the list is based on the hottest news about upcoming movies, awards and nominations, magazine covers and interviews, and special appearances on festivals, talk shows and upcoming TV series or just from anything that make fans more excited about movies. Here’s what they had to say about Rupert:

The Buzz: With two new movies on his sleeves, Rupert is going big-time! Fans are definitely on the look out for the new Harry Potter movies next year, but Grint is not relaxing a bit, his two new features Cherrybomb and Wild Target will surely keep him busy this year and the next!

Anyway, the Wild Target cast and crew are supposed to relocate to the Isle of Man this week, and the Film section of the IOM Government website confirms that filming will take place from 7 October (tomorrow) to 27 October, on three locations (St Johns, Douglas and Ramsey). Rupert doesn’t need that kind of attention, he shines just for being a fine actor not a compulsive attention seeker… some other people know that they are hopeless actors so they need to draw some attention doing and saying stupid things.

well.. I think Dan is actually a good actor.. he just is a VERY different kind of person than our Rupert. He just works his way differently! I love the Rupert does it – I so love that he is down to earth and actually a shy guy!
That only gives him the feel of reality and how hubmle, honest and unaffected he is by all the craziness of press, etc.

IMO Rupert likes to have a good time. But he doesn’t hang out at celebrity hang outs. He likes his pubs and hanging out with his friends. He doesn’t talk to the press unless he’s talking about his movies. Nothing really personal but an occasional mention of someone. In other words, he says enough.

What’s with all the Dan bashing? There are Rupert fans here that are also Dan fans. This is RUPERT news. I don’t get why the first few comments even mention Dan. Usually I expect a Dan mention after we’re bored with the exciting Rupert news and start going off topic, which is fine with me. I don’t mind a little actor bashing here and there even if it’s an actor I like but I don’t get why we’re on that straight off the mark. When Dan fans bash Rupert I always like to say that we’re much classier than them and they just bash us because of jealousy so it’s really hard to do that when I’m wrong.
Anyway, really great news about Rupert!! It’s going to be an exciting year coming up. Hopefully with 3 movies out in one year it means 3 times (or more) the promotion we got for DL.
