Gala: Rupert Grint on Al Murray to Get a DVD Release?
ITV has recently announced the DVD release of Al Murray’s Happy Hour – Season One. The release date is 6 October, but it is already available for preorder here. As you all know, Rupert Grint was on the show on 28 March 2008 (Season 2, Episode 12), and it was one of his best TV appearances/interviews ever. Anyway, it is likely that the Season Two DVD will follow up sometime in the future, which means more Rupert for everyone’s viewing pleasure!
As of now it is still unknown whether the DVDs will contain any additional material, deleted scenes, behind-the-scene and such, but it is very likely – the first season had 9 episodes, and the running time of the DVD pack is 540 minutes, so there’s plenty of room left for aditional gags and quips! 
We’ll keep you updated! Meanwhile, you can watch the video clips of Rupert on Al Murray in our Media Section here.

Oh wow Laura I think I read that too… I was there that day I think checking it out because I remember some fans saying “Hey where did all of the comments go!” Emma looks like she is doing a lot ” TO THEM” because she does a lot of publicity. I thought the whole exchange about HBP between HPANA and Heyman was a bit bias. Aside from the few who didn’t know much about the book I thought the reviews were heavily in favor of this one. There might’ve been a few issues, but mainly overall the responses were positive. So ‘cutting’ means, getting rid of Rupert moments I’m sure. The only thing I hope for is that the rumored March release date for WT happens and Rupert becomes so widely popular that they stick any scenes they may cut back in. lol

Tao, actually there was a lot of problems with the last 3rd of the film. People voiced their opinions on it during the focus group discussion after the movie was over. There wa absolutely no negative reactions to Rupert, Lav, and Draco that I have seen from all the screening reports. Who knows, they might actually be adding more scenes to flesh out the last 3rd of the film and make less fail-tastic as it appears to be judging by some of the reviews. I hope they reshoot some scenes too. That Sanpe scene where he flees Hogwarts and is being chased by harry… the dialogue was SO horrific. There’s Kloves messing up perfectly awesome dialogue from the books and putting his on shitty twist to it. FFS
I’m still fuming over Heyman’s reason for cutting the funeral. WTF?¬!?!?!?!?!?!

Honestly I gave up on the HP movies a long time ago. Don’t have expectations cuz you’ll always end up dissappointed. A lot of them say that Rupert’s performance is very solid and exceptional. No matter what they’ll end up cutting, I don’t see that changing when it comes to his performance.

You see Emma doesn’t need tons of makeup and bright red lipstick, she looks her best like this next to Rupert.
I think he brings out the simplicity in her cuz they always seem to match each other. When she is not with him she wears too much makeup lol. Just something I noticed.

Oh, isn’t that the truth Jo! She always looks so pretty around Rupert and even with premieres. But she attends this fashion junk and she’s over done. She is a beautiful woman who doesn’t need enhancements like that!
I usually like Heyman, but you can tell he’s talking out of his ass. His reasons for Dumbledore’s funeral being cut are dumb, but the whole moving of HBP is even worse.
Talking Heads: We’re going to make DH into two films! Not because we want the money, but because we want to keep the integrity of the book to be held up!

Off course they think about money! But I think,or at least hope,they won’t cut the most important scenes, like the one of the birds attack and the one in the Hospital Wing. And if they do cut something, I hope we’ll be able to see those scenes on DVD… after all, a lot of movies have got DVD with the Director’s Cut… why not Harry Potter?

I guess I missed it. What were the reasons for not having the funeral?
Except for the R/Hr moment, I’m not too bothered about it being absent. Hopefully the cuts and editing will make the movie great not worse and I’m speaking as a HP fan not a Rupert fan on this.
Maybe and just like wanting an extended version just maybe the movie will be longer as a whole just to keep those Ron moments in.
I want Rupert to rest just a bit because he’ll be doing promotion for two movies soon after January and then he’ll be filming DH. But maybe he could do a cameo or short part in another movie?

She saw quite a few people at the show like Mischa Barton (who my sister said looked like an empty vessel), Pam Anderson, Kate Moss, Henry Holland, Daisy Lowe, and a few other people. I was sad they didn’t have any goodie bags, just free bottles of ‘Vitamin Water’ which i’d never tried before as its mainly sold in america! hahaha, hope this fills you in!
Also, seeing as you’re a Rupert Fan..my sister and Vivieene Westwood pr have given some clothes for the new movie he is in with Emily Blunt, but most exciting is that any time when my sister is free the person in charge of costumes said that she can come to the set! I need to go with her with an ONTD sign, no?! hahahah, sorry for the long-ass reply bb!

The one who met Emma was on Monte,said she was very nice, that she were there with some friends, talk and took photos.
And the other one, met Rupert on a shopping in Bluewater(?).He was with his sister, mother and a friend. He stoped to talk than his phones rings and while he was speaking on it, the viewer decide to go away, because Rupert seems very concentrating on the call. He was wearing a Ramones Tshirt.

I love Vivianne Westwood clothes.She has a great story behind her work.
And I think Rupert would look wonderful in any of those clothes, not to mention he would like a lot to have someone that made clothes for Sex Pistols, making some for him.
And if you watched Cible Emouvante, you´ll agree that they matched with his character. Just don´t put crazy shoes on him!

Awww, he has soulful eyes like Rupert.
Although I hope because in the remake Rupert’s character is unaware that he’s working for a hitman and he chooses to be with him, he is a bit more outgoing.

1. Well .. thats always been the big question hasn’t it? These characters are evolving before our eyes in DH, and we see almost every emotion from them. Dan, I think, makes a lot of things seem corny. I don’t know why, but thats my opinion of him. When he cries (or attempts to) he makes the movie’s atmosphere awkward and .. nerdy? I don’t know how to explain it. He’s definitely improved, but still isn’t really up to par with what I would deem “harry-acceptable”. Emma is an annoyance, and usually over-indulges her lines and gives them .. too much emotion. Rupert is probably the best of the trio, and I think, the best of all the younger cast. He really can act, and I think it was just the luck of the draw. When they were young, it was up in the air on whether they would still be good actors as they aged. Obviously, Rupert has the best talent. Though, I think they can do a decent job, but I really have no hopes for the movie to evoke as much emotion as the book did.
2. Honestly, I don’t know. I really don’t know if the way they referenced it in the cave will make the audience care too much. I think they kind of have to though, I mean Ariana is the portrait, and Aberforth plays a large role. So I think they will explore it, but on a lower scale than the book did.
3. Yes. I’m not going to lie, Ron is supposed to be a stubborn ass. He is depicted that way perfectly in this movie. Though, a lot of it is facial expression and mannerisms rather than spoken dialogue. So make sure to watch carefully. ”
Ok, perhaps there some bias’ towards Rupert, but who cares???? In the lack of Rupert news, I’ll take it.
However, NOBODY had better mess up my moments in DH. The WHOLE trio better emote the heck out of my scenes in DH….

I’m so zen about the movie push back (hey, business is business, why am I gonna be mad at them for doing their job? It’s not like they cancelled the movie). I’m completely zen about no big battle scene (it would be too repetitive with the big epic battle in Deathly Hallows), and I’m zen about no funeral (it would be nice, but I don’t consider the movie ruined without it).
But if they TOUCH the Triangle, oh man. I. Will. Lose it. Cut anything else, but leave the Triangle alone!! Hell, cut Harry. Do we really need Harry? I mean, really?
Just kidding! Love you, Harry! But they better not dare mess with Ron/Lavender/Hermione. Or Ron for that matter. Any scene with Rupert in it, even if it’s just him tying a shoelace or eating a chocolate frog, or counting his chin hairs in the mirror, BETTER BE LEFT COMPLETE and UNCUT.
Hell, start a petition to move the release date that. I’ll start a petition to leave all Ron’s scenes in.
