Nice to hear about the sex scene, but I am SO excited to hear that he started reading the “Twilight” book. I am a HUGE fan of the saga. I’m glad Robert (love him!!!) got Rupert into them. I hope he finishes the book and gets an appreciation for them. I can see why he’s not getting into it right now with the first few chapters, cuz it does kind of drag but it does pick up. aww well

Actually, I thought he was pretty vague. He didn’t tell what he was doing in the area. They assumed. He didn’t tell details about how he spent his birthday. He didn’t tell them what the inside joke was or what the drawing was. He didn’t tell them where he was going afterwards or who his friends were he was waiting for. He didn’t tell them what the bet was that he lost. It was probably obvious (by his facial expressions), he wasn’t thrilled about reading Twilight. He didn’t say much about the “scene” except it was a tense scary moment and he was nervous. That’s it. No other details about Cherrybomb. It sounds alot like Rupert to me. lol

It’s not about the secrecy of the message, it’s just not like Rupert to volunteer information, any information in general, they usually try to drag things out of him, and only occasionally succeed for that matter. Bogus or exaggerated or true blue, it’s a nice one. Meaning Rupert comes out looking like the Rupe we know; all about family and friends and being friendly to those who are nice to him. I love the idea that he and Robert still stay in that type of contact. I hearing the twins and Rob becoming friends and doing stuff(going to concerts), and Rob talked about how nice and funny Rupert was.

Actually, I’m usually skeptical but something about this rings true. It reminds me of the time we heard that Rupert caught fire at the DL luncheon with JK or when the Sun reported that he had a quidditchy bum and both stories turned out to be true. Some of these stories sound false but this one seems real to me. When it’s casual like this, as if he’s just speaking with a friend, he’s much more open than when it’s a formal sit down interview.

There was a DL luncheon which JK attended and the news reporter said Rupert’s jacket or something caught afire (maybe from a candle on the table – I don’t remember) but it was quickly extinguished and Rupert made some funny comment about it. I just saw this ad for Talk Soup and in it it was talking about JK’s lawsuit against the Lexicon. And the guy said JK’s trying to stop other HP related books.

No, their electricity is out. I think about 4 million w/o electricity and they had to shut some water pumping stations because one station went completely out and water pressure is low. When it’s low, contamination can get into the water supply. It’s a mess down there. I have been watching Mayor White’s press conferences. They expect to be without power for 11 days.

Jo is without power. She lives in the Houston TX area.
AJ, No kidding. We were without power for 14 days when Opal came through and I lived in GA, not anywhere near Florida. Way up in GA. I was afraid of the tornados that come through behind hurricanes.

Looking at the article, it seems real to me. It’s a freakin’ text message about a bet with Robert and the Twilight series. It’s not about his personal life. lol It just looked like they happened to spot him around and got an interview.
