Rupert Grint starring in “Sick Note”!

OtherProjectNewsRupert Grint starring in “Sick Note”!May 16th, 2016, 1:21pm– CilUxmEXEAAbduA.jpg large We never know when Rupert Grint has a new project in the bag – one day we’re going through a long news drought and another day he is spotted on set filming something new. Today, Rupert was spotted on set filming a new series called Sick Note. We know very little about this project at the moment so hopefully more information will become available soon.

Firstly, check out the pictures of Rupert (with a new haircut and wearing a snazzy suit) alongside costar Nick Frost:

Thanks to twitter users Christinahighup and RunningReenie.

Secondly, we found out about this project when actress Camilla Beeput tweeted that she was about to start filming with Rupert and Nick (the tweet has since been deleted). Now we know it’s a comedy series for Sky Atlantic directed by Matt Lipsey and produced by King Bert Productions.

We will update when we find out more (or anything at all) about the show and the character Rupert is playing. Any and all information will be uploaded to the Filmography page here.

UPDATE: A short video of filming has surfaced on Newsflare. Check out Rupert in action here.

UPDATE #2: Just Jared Jr posted a bunch of pictures of Rupert from the set. You can see them in our gallery here.

Exclusive: First Official Image from Adolf The Artist featuring Rupert Grint!

OtherProjectNewsExclusive: First Official Image from The Artist featuring Rupert Grint!April 12th, 2016, 4:35pm– It’s a great day in the Rupert Grint fandom – we finally have our very first official look at Rupert’s upcoming drama Adolf The Artist (the title has apparently changed from The Artist).
The image features Rupert (in a dapper hat) alongside Iwan Rheon (who’s playing Adolf Hitler):

We also have a new and long synopsis to share. Although we don’t hear much about Rupert’s character (August (Gustl) Kubizek) we get a good impression of what to expect:

Adolf Hitler has been portrayed on screen many times – but never like this! Adolf the Artist is a satirical drama starring Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) and Rupert Grint (Harry Potter), telling the little-known tale of a young Adolf, before politics and before war, when all he could dream about was becoming a famous painter.
Historically accurate, this imagining of the young pre-tyrant is comedic in its approach and sees him ata crossroads in his life, when “his struggle” was purely about not being a good enough artist.
In 1907, an 18-year-old Hitler applied to the prestigious Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, certain that his genious would be recognized. It wasn’t. He resolved to re-apply the following year and moved to Vienna, hopeful that living amongst artists would rub off on him. Not one to let himself go, Hitler found the opium-taking, schnapps-swilling, sexual experimentation of his fellow artists somewhat irritating and as he’d not yet developed into a demagogic ranter, no-one listened. They didn’t have to. Yet.
This story follows Adolf in the run-up to retaking the entrance exam, burdened by temper tantrums and an oddball dress sense, and desperately trying to improve as an artist and gain recognition.

We do not yet know when this will air on Sky Arts but hopefully more news will emerge soon. In the meantime, enjoy the new picture (yay finally news).

Rupert Grint Talks To Le Grand Journal!

moonwalkersicon2Rupert Grint Talks To Le Grand Journal!February 18th, 2016, 5:46pm–To promote the upcoming release for Moonwalkers in France (on March 3rd), Rupert Grint was on the show Le Grand Journal. Unfortunately Rupert’s interview is a bit hard to hear because of the translator talking over him, but it’s lovely to see him. His part of the interview starts around the 32 minute mark. And you can view it below:

In the second video, Rupert tries to sing (and is quite good until he starts to laugh and ends up off key!) “Lego House” by Ed Sheeran. As you remember, Rupert starred in the video for Lego House. You can view this video below as well:

Side note: Russia has a tentative release date for Moonwalkers of March 17th and in the Netherlands of March 31st.

Rupert Grint Supports Give Kids The World!

RupertNewsIconRupert Grint Supports Give Kids The World!February 8th, 2016, 3:34 pm– A lovely bit of news has emerged online today – apparently Rupert Grint stopped by a very special place while he was in Florida when he visited the charity Give Kids The World and their amazing village.
This is a 79-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families and it looks like Rupert had an absolutely lovely time with the kids.

Give Kids The World had this to say about Rupert’s visit:

Even Rupert Grint – best known for his role as Ron Weasley in Harry Potter – knew that in order to understand the magic of Give Kids The World Village, he’d have to see it for himself. As an ambassador for Starlight Children’s Foundation, it already meant so much to him knowing that children with life-threatening illnesses were coming to the Village and experiencing The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Universal Orlando Resort). And so, he stopped by. He saw the smiles, the laughter, the piles of ice cream and the beauty of families enjoying much-needed time with one another.

On behalf of all who believe in magic and the happiness that inspires hope, we thank Rupert for sharing his big heart with the Village and its special guests.
