RupertNewsIconMay 13th, 2013, 11:20am– On Saturday Rupert Grint attended The Door Youth Project Charity Concert at the Sub Rooms in Stroud. He was there to support his sister Samantha who was playing with her band Ghost of Samantha. Today, we have several pictures from the event of Rupert politely taking pictures with fans and performers. He is looking happy and it is so lovely to see him support his family in all their endeavours.

Stroud FM (a community readio station) was on hand to report on all the music, and they’ve been kind enough to upload some pictures of our boy, taken by Tammy Lynn Kwan.

Rupert‘s appearance at the event also made the local news and Stroud News & Journal describes Rupert like this:

Wearing a black t-shirt with ‘Hormones’ written across in the style of the famous Ramones logo, skinny jeans and a hoodie, he was accompanied by his mum and dad.

You can see all of Tammy Lynn‘s pictures from the event in our gallery here.

In Super Clyde news, the show’s comic book illustrator, Mark Wheatley, posted his amazing drawing of Rupert as Clyde in comic book form on his facebook page. You can view the full size image in our gallery here. He added the following along with the picture which gives us hope that other networks are looking into the pilot.

SUPER CLYDE – so CBS passed on the show and now other networks are taking a look. Greg Garcia, Rupert Grint, Stephen Fry, Tyler Labine and the entire incredible cast and crew created a really sweet pilot. Hard to believe it is having any problem finding a home. I had a great time working with these people!

We are still going through with our Super Clyde Campaign which you can read all about here.

Rupert Grint’s Super Clyde not picked up by CBS!

» May 11 by Malene in Rupert News, Super Clyde News with 23 Comments

SuperClydeIcon2May 11th, 2:54pm, 2013– Unfortunately, news has hit the web tonight that Rupert Grint‘s pilot project Super Clyde has not been picked up by CBS. Yesterday, we got the first signs that it would be very very difficult for the pilot to get picked when The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that four comedies had been picked already (Crazy Ones, The Millers, Mom and We Are Men). There were many very good pilots up for graps this year on CBS, and Super Clyde was just really unlucky not to be picked.

Today several of Rupert‘s cast members on the pilot confirmed the bad news.
Justine Lupe wrote it first:

Sad to say CBS SUPER CLYDE isn’t going on… Grateful to have gotten to have some fun with @TyLabine, @stephenfry &the rest! :)

Tyler Labine was quick to reply:

@iamjustinelupe @stephenfry it was indeed great to get the opportunity to work with you both. Grint too. Everybody was awesome. Truly.

And lastly, Laura Ortiz gave her reaction to the news:

Thank you guys for all the support! it was an amazing project to have been a part of!! #superclyde :(

Of course, this is a huge disappointment for all us Rupert fans, but we have to keep a positive attitude and support Rupert in his future projects – he has an uncanny ability to surprise us, so we can’t wait to see what project will be announced next.
But let’s not remember this project as a disappointment, let’s all go to the galleries and enjoy the lovely pictures we got of Rupert filming in Los Angeles.

As a last effort to support this project and show everyone how much we want it to get made, we will start a little campaign which we hope everyone will take part in – on May 15th we’ll be tweeting FX and TBS in hopes that they consider picking up Super Clyde. To learn more click here.

RupertNewsIconMay 9th, 2013, 2:56pm– We have an amazing treat for all Rupert Grint fans tonight. Thanks to Anonymous (we would love to know your name, so we can give proper credit…), we have this amazing picture to share with you guys:

Rupert-Grint

This amazing picture was taken by photographer Tim Booth and you can see a larger version of the image in our gallery here. We don’t know what the purpose of this photoshoot is, but we will investigate and update with further information and more pictures if they are unvcovered. How do you like the look of this new photoshoot? Let us know in the comments!

The official CBGB facebook page as also released yet another image of Rupert as Cheetah Chrome rocking out on stage. We’ve also added that image to our gallery here.

UPDATE: We now have more details about the Tim Booth picture, and it is extremely interesting. On May 1st, Tim updated his blog with the following quote:

Spent the day shooting stills on the set of Instruments of Darkness, which was a chapter for the film Enemy of Man directed by Vincent Regan. This one is of Jason Flemyng letting rip in a fight sequence, all swords, clashing armour and fire, very dramatic. I also got some nice shots of Charles Dance and Rupert Grint. Good day, nice people and rather fun.

UPDATE #2: We asked Tim about photographing Rupert, and he was nice enough to share some very sweet words with us:

He was a nice guy, we didn’t exactly chat much as he was working very hard.
He’s a calm and quiet guy, very professional, totally unaffected by his fame
and dedicated to his craft.
